Russell Wilson (hamstring) practiced on Thursday.
Thursday’s limited practice marks Wilson’s second straight practice of the week as he prepares for the team’s Week 8 matchup against the Jaguars. In essence, it means we are stuck with another Russell Wilson prime time game. How exciting.
Wilson told reporters he is “ready to rock.” The 33-year-old went on to say he spent four hours working out and rehabbing on the Broncos’ flight to London. He said he was doing high knees in the aisle while his teammates slept.
Wilson, whose struggles have been noted throughout the season, will be difficult to trust as anything more than a high-end QB2 against the Jaguars. It’s a massive boost for Courtland Sutton, who suddenly becomes a must-start again. Greg Dulcich becomes and intriguing streaming option as well. The third-round rookie impressed in the Broncos Week 7 loss to the Jets, catching six passes (nine targets) for 51 yards.
