NBC Los Angeles’ Michael Duarte reports Cooper Kupp (ankle) was spotted “noticeably limping” in the locker room following the Rams’ Week 8 loss to the 49ers.

Kupp suffered the injury on the last drive of the game.  Sean McVay took ownership for the poor decision to still be throwing to Kupp down 31-14 with one minute remaining. Although he made it to the sideline without assistance, the MVP candidate sounds in need of an MRI.

After the game, the 29-year-old phenom expressed optimism saying he “dodged a bullet,” suggesting he avoided major injury.

His name figures to be heavily monitored all week long. The Rams go to Tampa for a showdown with Tom Brady and the Bucs Week 9. Fantasy’s WR3 will be an unreplaceable loss for owners if indeed sidelined.
