Despite reaggravating his PCL two weeks ago against the Lions, Schultz was back at it Sunday against the Bears. The Cowboys’ tight end gutted out another performance (71% Snap Share,) leading the Cowboys in receptions, while tying with CeeDee Lamb for the team lead in targets. Schultz has now caught 11-of-12 targets for 123 yards since Dak Prescott’s return in Week 7. Remember, Dallas led both games from start to finish, relying on a heavy dosage of their RB’s.
Entering the season, the 26-year old was a trendy breakout pick, but the combination of his and Dak’s injuries derailed that.
Now, apparently fully healthy, Schultz is a safe TE1 moving forward. He won’t win your league, but he will be a lineup staple. With the bye looming Sunday, it’s the perfect time to buy low.
