Ladies and gentleman, it’s the final stretch. With just five weeks remaining in the regular season, it’s time to make your championship push. Adding this wide receiver will prove instrumental.
Donovan Peoples-Jones 11% Owned
DPJ has quietly put together a strong season. Over the last five weeks the 23-year-old has averaged 69.5 yards per game – which ranks 11th amongst pass catcher’s.
Where People-Jones has struggled, has been in the TD department. He’s failed to find the end zone this season despite playing 87% of the teams snaps, thanks to the Browns implementing a run heavy offense on the goal line (Nick Chubb 10TD). That trend wont last much longer.
The law of averages says a player compiling 70 yards per game on a 87% snap share will eventually find the end zone. Oh yea, remember Deshaun Watson? He’s returns in three weeks, aka, the fantasy playoffs.
That presumably will give a boost to the entire Browns offense. If you go back to his days in Houston, Watson’s pass production has always elevated two WR’s to become fantasy relevant. That’s DPJ and Amari Cooper for the Browns.
Donovan Peoples-Jones wont win you a fantasy league, but has the chance to be a weekly starter down the stretch.
