Rams coach Sean McVay said Matthew Stafford entered concussion protocol on Wednesday.
McVay said Stafford suffered the concussion on Sunday, but the symptoms didn’t appear until well after the game. If he can’t clear the protocol (unlikely) – the Rams will be forced to turn to John Wolford.
It would be a colossal hit for Cooper Kupp owners. Nobody else on the Rams should sniff a fantasy lineup.
Wofford has started one game in his NFL career, ironically enough in the postseason vs. the Cardinals. The Rams won the game 18-7, and the 27-year-old career clipboard holder compiled 231 yards through the air and 56 yards on the ground.
The Rams season is over in November. What a difference a year makes. A full blow-up could be on the horizon.
