Titans offensive coordinator Todd Downing was arrested Thursday night for a DUI and speeding.

According to Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com, Downing was pulled over at 3:39 a.m. and booked an hour later. A Delta flight left Green Bay at 12:15 a.m. and landed in Nashville at 2:11 a.m. suggesting the Titans coach consumed alcohol on the flight home. The NFL has “strict” rules regarding teams making alcohol available to players and coaches.

Downing, fresh off the Titans’ week 11 win against the Packers, spent the night in jail before posting bond at 7 a.m., according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Downing could face discipline from the team or the league.

As for Titans? They are cruising, winning six of seven games – the only loss coming in overtime, to the Chiefs, with a backup QB.
