NFL: Chicago Bears at Dallas Cowboys
LOVES:
CeeDee Lamb:
He’s quietly the sixth most frequently targeted WR, despite playing half the season with a backup QB. Dak is back, healthy, and most importantly, peppering the 23-year-old. Lamb finished with a season high 15 targets last week and is an elite WR1 until further notice.
Amon-Ra St. Brown:
In St. Browns last 12 healthy games, he’s averaging 10.8 targets and 22.5 fantasy points per game. When healthy, the 23-year-old is borderline matchup proof. He’s fresh off a 11 target performance vs. the Bears. No other Lions pass catcher finished with more than three targets. It’s just math, people.
FRINGE STARTS
Courtland Sutton:
Don’t do it. Don’t do it. I’m doing it. After a hot start to his 2022 campaign, Sutton has been a disaster, in large part to Russell Wilson becoming the biggest flop in the history of the NFL. But there is hope. Jerry Jeudy (ankle) will miss the Broncos week 11 matchup vs. the Raiders – which leaves Sutton as legitimately the only WR left standing for Denver. Jeudy has departed from two games early this year, and in both, Sutton finished with 11 targets, averaging 94 yards. Now or never.
Tyler Boyd:
With Ja’Marr Chase missing a third consecutive game, Tyler Boyd once again projects to be a major part of the Bengals game plan. The Steelers rank 31st vs. WR’s, suggesting a big week for the 28-year-old slot specialist. It’s that simple.
Rondale Moore:
Moore continues to see an increased role in the Cardinals’ offense, even with Kyler Murray sidelined. Over the last three weeks the 22-year-old is fantasy’s WR9, averaging 10.3 targets and 89.2 yards per game. He’s virtually playing every snap and locked in as the #2 pass catcher on an offense constantly playing from behind. He’s a every week starter until Marquise Brown returns.
DART THROWS
Kadarius Toney:
The only concern is this seems too easy. With JuJu Smith Schuster and Mecole Hardman both out for the Chiefs, Kadarius Toney is the next man up. The human joystick, scored his first career TD last week, and despite just six touches (44% snap share,) the 22-year-old compiled 90 total yards. Andy Reid is a smart man. Unleash Toney.
Donovan Peoples-Jones:
How many times do I have to mention his name? After logging a season high 99 yards in a Week 10 loss to the Dolphins, DPJ has now surpassed 50 receiving yards in seven straight games. He has out-gained Amari Cooper two of the past four weeks. The Browns will once again be forced to throw more than they are accustomed to when they take on the Bills in Detroit.
DEEP DART THROWS
Jarvis Landry:
Finally returning to the lineup after a six-week ankle injury, Landry ran a route on 25 of Andy Dalton’s 31 drop backs against Pittsburgh. Only Juwan Johnson had more targets (7) than Landry. Checkdown master, Andy Dalton, will continue to look his way week 11 vs. the Rams.
Devin Duvernay:
With Rashod Bateman (foot) done for the year, Duvernay is the Ravens’ default WR1. He led the team with 50 routes in Baltimore’s Week 9 win over the Saints, but it translated into five yards. He’s a true dart throw in a favorable matchup vs. the Panthers and Mark Andrews a GTD. Duvernay finished with 64 yards and a TD week 8, so there is upside.
