NFL: International Series-Denver Broncos at Jacksonville Jaguars
Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett officially has ruled out Courtland Sutton (hamstring) in Week 14 against the Chiefs.
Sutton went down with a hamstring injury in the second half of Denver’s Week 13 loss to the Ravens and did not return. He failed to catch his lone target.
After a hot start to the season, Sutton has cooled off dramatically, in large part to Russell Wilson’s epic downfall.
Jerry Jeudy will now elevate to Russell Wilson’s new #1 target, though that role has not translated into any fantasy production this year. The 23-year-old has actually been relatively productive of late, averaging 73.6 yards over his last three healthy contents.
On tap for Week 14? A date with the Kansas City Chiefs who rank 29th vs. WRs. Operating as the #1 option in the Denver pass game, positions Jeudy to see a massive target share. He’s a flex play.
