Mike Williams (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
This marks the first practice for the 28-year-old since he attempted to return from his ankle injury in Week 11, only to exit after re-aggravating the injury on his first catch.
Opening the week with a limited session is a positive sign, but the Chargers will be likely be extremely cautious. Head coach Brandon Staley has been adamant on this not being a long term injury, but take anything he says with a grain of salt.
For now, Williams seems 50/50 to suit up vs. the Dolphins Sunday night. If he does, he will be a risky WR2. If owners have the luxury, it would be smart to give him a week to show he can stay on the field.
