Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin remains in critical condition on Wednesday.
“Doctors overnight got promising readings that they had been hoping to see by this morning. Right now, things are really in a positive direction. I can’t speak specifically to it, but it’s moving in a positive direction,” a family representative told Cole Harvey of ESPN.
The family also said the 24-year-old was resuscitated just one time following his collapse. Hamlin’s uncle told ESPN that Hamlin had been resuscitated twice – once on the field and again at the hospital – but he misspoke.
He remains sedated in the ICU in critical condition.
The NFL announced yesterday that the Bills/Bengals Monday night game won’t be played this week. The league has yet to decide if or when the game will be made up.
