The Steelers have made a living for finding wide receiver talent in the NFL draft.

Well, they apparently found another hidden gem. His name; George Pickens.

The 21-year-old was the 52 overall pick by the Steelers in the 2022 NFL draft, making him the 11th wide receiver off the board. Despite a surplus of competition and a carousel at the QB position the Georgia Bulldog finished 4th amongst rookies in receiving yards.

You can add star pass rusher T.J. Watt to the list of people who are massive fans of the budding superstar.

At radio row, the 2021 Defensive Player of the Year shared his thoughts with Peter King on Pickens.

“George Pickens is one of those guys that’s like, I don’t know if he understands how good he is,” Watt said. “It’s like holy cow — some of the things you see in practice. But it’s also on top of that, it’s the little things. Like finishing plays, running — he can run for days.”

Not a bad endorsement from a 3x All-Pro.

Pickens now aims to build on a successful rookie campaign after finishing the season with 801 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
