(New York, NY) — How can you interview yourself? Lamar Jackson has the answer.
The Ravens QB posted a message on his Instagram story saying that said self interview would be coming “soon.” It would be posted on his Youtube Entertainment Page via his own entertainment company, TruzzProductionz.
The post included a brief teaser; it’s of Lamar talking about playing in Marty Mornhinweg’s West Coast offense in his rookie year, mentioning how it was the first time since youth football that he had to call plays, protections, and even give routes to his teammates. He also says how the concepts weren’t different from Bobby Patrino’s Louisville scheme.
This interview is big news since it will be the first time Jackson has spoken since December 2nd, 2022 during his midweek interview before a game against the Broncos. Jackson suffered an injury in the game that prevented him from suiting up for the rest of the year.
Jackson, widely perceived as the best free agent QB on the market, is under a non-exclusive franchise tag with Baltimore. He can negotiate with other teams, and the Ravens could either match or let him go for two first round draft picks. His situation with the Ravens has been one of the foremost dramas of this offseason.
Perhaps the interview will give some insight on it.
