(New York, NY) — The NFL is servicing the fans at the potential cost of players’ health.

At this week’s NFL owners meeting, new Thursday Night Football scheduling changes were made official. A team can now be scheduled for two TNF games a season, meaning potentially multiple short weeks for players.

Reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes reacted to the news with a hand-to-the-face emoji, expressing annoyance.

Seahawks receiver Tyler Lockett also reacted by tagging the NFL Player’s Association and immediately saying something needs to be done about the decision.

The number one concern regarding TNF are injuries, something the Seahawks have experience with. Former Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman suffered an Achilles injury in 2017 and proceeded to speak out against the NFL for having Thursday games in general.

Not all owners are feeling good about the decision either.

“I am adamantly opposed to that,” Giants General Manager said when speaking about the new and potential TNF changes. “…to flex a game back to Thursday night, to me, is just abusive and I am adamantly opposed to it.”

Mara went onto to mention how inconsiderate the NFL is of fans when games as is are flexed,
