(New York, NY) — The Ravens have offered Odell Beckham Jr. a contract, per Adam Schefter. The offer was made after Beckham Jr. visited with the Ravens among other teams at the NFL Owners Meetings in Phoenix last week. The details of the offer have not been disclosed,
But Baltimore is apparently just one of three teams in the mix for the 30-year-old receiver, along with the Jets and Rams. As Schefter points out, the OBJ saga has been “one of the longest free agent recruitments that we’ve ever seen.”
Beckham was vital to the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl run in 2021 but tore his ACL in the big game and sat out all of 2022. A healthy OBJ would be huge for the Ravens, no matter who is under center. One would imagine he would thrive with Aaron Rodgers (who put OBJ on his wish list) on the Jets should New York also make a formal offer.
There were reports the other day that Beckham was looking for a $15-20 million dollar contract, which the receiver shot down.
“April fools was yesterday no?” Beckham Jr. asked on Twitter. “I be so confused where all these reports and numbers are coming from ‘per source.’”
