(New York, NY) — Could New York Jets fans see an even better Sauce Gardner this season?

The cornerback is coming off a stellar rookie campaign, cementing himself as one of the best defensive players in the league.

While speaking at his youth football camp in Detroit on Saturday, the cornerback has his sights set on an even better sophomore season.

“You always have something to work on,” Gardner said. “I got a lot of things I can work on that’s going to get better coming into my second season.”

The No 4 overall pick recorded 20 pass deflections, 45.9% reception percentage, 361 yards allowed, 53.9 passer rating allowed, and allowed just two touchdowns, en route to winning the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

“I want to be the best teammate I can be. Not just my personal goals but I just want to be more team-oriented, Gardner said “I just want to be the best teammate I can be to help my team win.”

Gardener’s message is clear “I want to win a Super Bowl.” and appears to be willing to do whatever it takes.

With QB Aaron Rodgers joining Gang Green, the expectations in New York are through the roof – and Sauce loves every second of it.
