(Stateline, NV) — Steph Curry is adding another title to his trophy case.
The Golden State Warriors guard came away with a first-place finish at the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course.
“I don’t do this for a living, so it’s something you dream about,” Curry said. “I’ve been playing in this tournament for almost a decade and now I’ve got some hardware to show for it. It’s pretty special.”
Curry sunk an eagle putt on the 18th hole to finish ahead of former professional tennis player Mardy Fish.
He became just the second basketball player to win the tournament, joining Vinny Del Negro who won back in 2021.
Curry also went viral with his hole-in-one shot in the second round on Saturday.
His father, Dell, finished 11th and his brother, Seth, finished tied for 46th.
Joe Pavelski of the Dallas Stars finished in third, former major league pitcher Mark Mulder was fourth, and New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was fifth in the 93-player field.
“I’m excited to finish in the top five and be the top active football player,” Rodgers said. “There’s some really good players on the board. And I’m not one of them. Watch me on the range, you’d be surprised. But I am pretty crafty, and I got a few shots in the bag. And I’m damn competitive.
