NEW YORK — Breece Hall openly admitted his frustration with his lack of touches against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Jets head coach Robert Saleh has now joined the club.

“Shoot, I’m frustrated, but I don’t think it was intentional,” the Jets’ head coach said on a Zoom call on Monday.

“We didn’t get him the ball because they weren’t on the field, he was on the bench,” Saleh said. “It’s hard to give the guy the ball when he’s on the bench and he’s on the bench because we couldn’t get off the field on defense. That’s the frustrating part and by the time we were able to start winning some third-down reps … the game was over, the game is out of whack, we were trying to throw to catch back up.”

Hall only had four carries for 9 yards in the game, while the Jets as a whole only had 16 rushes.

“I only got four touches. That’s why we struggled,” Hall said after the game. “But it is what it is.”

Hall also expressed his frustrations in a now-deleted post on X, formerly known as Twitter. He typed four football emojis — which matches the number of carries he received — and added three dots at the end.

Saleh attributed the lack of carries to the defense’s inability to get off the field and falling behind early.

The Cowboys had 83 offensive plays compared to the Jets’ 46.

Zach Wilson was the Jets’ leading rusher with 36 yards.

Expect the Jets to feed Hall early and often against the Patriots on Sunday.
