DENVER — Broncos safety Kareem Jackson was ejected for a illegal hit during Denver’s 19-17 win on Sunday over the Packers.
A day later, he’s feeling the effects on social media.
Jackson, 35, received a racist message following his ejection from the game, and was so angry, he called out the sender publicly.
“I’ll repost all this week so it doesn’t go unnoticed. Don’t worry, IG tough guy.”
This is the second time a player has called out fans for their messages on Instagram this season. Earlier this year, Vikings running back Alexander Mattison said he got over 60 hate-messages from fans, with some including the N-word.
As for Jackson, he has now been fined four times for hits to the head this season. The NFL announced that he will be fined $43,709 for his latest offense. A suspension could be coming.
