NEW YORK — Keep an eye out for a Dalvin Cook postseason run.
Cook, who was released by the Jets on Tuesday, is drawing interest from the Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys per Josina Anderson of CBS Sports.
“We’ll see tomorrow if RB Dalvin Cook clears waivers following his departure from the Jets.” Anderson reported.
“My understanding is one team that may have potential interest down the road on the practice squad is the Baltimore Ravens, though they did not have a spot available this morning.”
Baltimore’s has been hampered by at the running back position all year following injuries to starter JK Dobbins and most recently to breakout rookie, Keaton Mitchell.
In an additional report Anderson noted “My understanding is that the Dallas Cowboys will also consider potentially adding Dalvin Cook. Still evaluating.”
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy was asked about Cook by reporters on Thursday.
“Those are really questions you’re always visiting,” McCarthy said “I have a tremendous amount of respect for him.”
The 28-year-old rushed for only 214 yards on 67 carries with zero touchdowns.
Cook currently remains on the open market, looking for a new home to revive his career. It looks like he’ll get a chance.
