PHILADELPHIA — Eagles center Jason Kelce may not have officially retired, but one of his teammates is convinced the longtime center is done for good.
During Super Bowl 2024 week, Philadelphia tackle Jordan Mailata said that Kelce won’t be suiting up for Philly next fall.
“There’s no shot,” Mailata told NBC Sports Philadelphia. “You’re telling me he’s going shirts off in the games, gambling in the casinos, (and) he’s coming back? No way. He’s having too much fun.

“He’s out there living his life. And I’m going to miss him for sure, man. This has been the greatest six years of my life for sure, being here in the NFL and getting to meet people like Jason Kelce.”
Kelce also reportedly met with ESPN, Fox and Amazon about potential broadcasting deals last week.

While the Eagles center hasn’t announced his decision yet, one should come soon. Kelce, who’s been with Philly for his entire career back which started in 2011, is scheduled to become a free agent in March.
If the 36-year-old does indeed call the quits, he’ll surely go down as a Philly great – maxing six-time first-team All-Pros and seven-Pro Bowls, including each of the last five seasons.
