(Florham Park, NJ) – Social media footage of Jets’ camp this week has blown up over some interactions between Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson. The two offensive stars were seen in passionate conversations on both Saturday and Tuesday.

In an attempt to show the media that there is no issue between the two, Rodgers said “he’s got to get on my page, but I have to get on his page too…So those are good conversations. They might appear to be much more heated than they are, but there’s usually a smile on our face afterwards – at least one of us.”

Rodgers has been a true field general over the last few practices, in the twilight of his career, a storybook ending will not occur without excellence from the rest of the team. His goal as a leader is to push players “to believe in themselves maybe more than they do at the time.” The miscues as of late are far below the standards of a 4x MVP.

Since his arrival in New York, Rodgers has received nothing but praise from his young receiver. Wilson has been excited for the opportunity to play with a Hall of Fame quarterback, and his frustration was clear after Rodgers went down for the season, just four plays in.

Wilson chalked up the exchanges to his competitive nature, claiming that anything that may be confused for anger is out of a passion to win.

“It’s truly enlightening for me very time we have problems like that, despite how it may look, just because I am an emotional, passionate guy…when we lose, I might look a certain way, but in reality, all those conversations, those things are helping me be better for Aaron because he can make your life real easy. So, for me, it’s my job to be on my details and he’s been on me about those details.”

If one thing stands clear about the offseason, it is that the media loves to villainize Rodgers and put down the Jets. With a shutdown defense and a potentially explosive offense, there’s no telling what heights this team can reach – so long as the critics are not providing as much fact as they are fiction.
