NFL: Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings
Amon-Ra St. Brown (Ankle) is out for Week 4 against the Seahawks.
St. Brown missed practice all week after rolling his ankle in the Lions Week 3 loss vs. the Vikings. His absence is a massive blow for the Detroit offense, who will also be without star running back D’Andre Swift on Sunday vs. the Seahawks.
Jared Goff had what appeared to be a smash mouth opportunity, but that is no longer the case. The O/U has dropped from 50.5 -> 47.5 suggesting points may not be as plentiful as fantasy owners hoped for earlier in the week.
Josh Reynolds, after catching six of ten targets for 96 yards last week, could function as the team’s WR1 with St. Brown sidelined. D.J. Chark should see a bump in targets too. Both are suitable replacements for St. Brown owners. Jarvis Landry with Michael Thomas sidelined is another alternative.
