Breece Hall suffered a torn ACL on Sunday and will miss the rest of the 2022 season.
Hall also suffered a minor meniscus injury. He will undergo surgery and look to return to begin 2023. Hall’s injury devastating news for the Jets.
The 2022 second-round rookie was emerging as one of the best young talents in the league. He rushed for 72 yards and a TD on just four touches in the Jets Week 6 win over the Broncos. Hall was well on his way to his third straight 100-yard performance before suffering the injury.
Michael Carter now projects to shoulder the load with veteran Ty Johnson sliding in as the complementary back. Perhaps the 5-2 Jets dip their toes in the trade market with talented backs such as Cam Akers and Kareem Hunt seemingly available.
