After months of speculation, it appears the Odell Beckham Jr. saga is finally coming to an end.

“Odell’s going to join us,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones told USA TODAY Sports on Thursday. “There’s a good chance he will, with the complete goal of getting ready for a playoff game or two, and then I’ll look to the future. But most of it being about now. He’s been working out,” Jones said, “and of course he’s extraordinary.”

The Cowboys spent over a month speaking to the 30-year-old, but the two sides have yet to agree on a deal. The recent signing of T.Y. Hilton would incline some to believe a deal is all but dead, but the rumors appear to be heating up once again.

“I’m hopeful we can get into some important games and have some Deion Sanders-type results,” Jones said. “Could this be possible to have a great player like that get in two or three playoff games and make some significant plays? I think very much so. That’s not an exaggerated thought at all.”

Odell has been admanet on wanting to sign a multi-year deal, but after a second ACL tear in February, teams have been reluctant to grant Beckhams wish.

At this point, it looks like Odell Beckham will be in a Dallas Cowboys jersey sooner rather than later.
