It’s official – WWE has done YET AGAIN.
According to reports from WWE officials this Royal Rumble 2023 has officially broke its own major records for both live gate as well as viewership.
The Rumble, which took place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas racked in a whopping $7.7 million dollars on Saturday. According to multiple sources, that has put the rumble up over 57% the company’s previous record of $4.9 million.
As for this Rumble’s viewership- the numbers were up 52% from the previous record from last year as well.
The WWE has had its fair share of rumors since late 2022 into 2023- ranging from Vince’s return, a Saudi buyout and an AEW merger- but one thing is for certain- WWE continues to prove time and time again that they will continue to remain successful as ever.
