(New York, NY) — Former Jets first-round pick Darron Lee has an arrest warrant out for him. Lee missed a court date after being charged with domestic violence and assault this past April.
Lee, 28, was originally arrested in April in Ohio after he allegedly beat both his mother and the mother of his son.
The mother of Lee’s child, called Ohio police to report Lee for the assault on his mother. She says she heard screaming from the upstairs floor and when she checked out the scene, Lee was standing over his mother with a closed fist.
The mother recalled the events at a hospital and said Lee punched her “eight to nine times” in the head.
That is one incident Lee was being investigated for. More allegations arose last October from an incident with the mother of his child.
This incident allegedly saw Lee throw a phone at a woman “which struck her head, causing her ear to bleed, grabbing her neck while punching the pillow beside her head, causing red marks to her neck.”
Court records cited by WBNS in Columbus say Lee had suspected the woman of cheating on him.
ABC 6 first reported that a warrant for Lee’s arrest for missing a court hearing was issued in Franklin County, Ohio.
