More company on the way
Phillip Rivers and his wife Tiffany are expecting their 10th child together. The couple broke the news with AL.com sharing to the world that a baby boy is on the way in October.
“We’ve had one pretty much every two years, and now this is the longest gap,” Rivers said. “We are all fired up. Everyone was pulling for a boy. Even our girls wanted a boy.”
River retired in 2021, after 17 seasons in the league
Sweet ole retirement; Rivers should not have much trouble keeping himself occupied.
“We thought we would be the third generation of nine, but we decided to go double-digits — or I should (say) we didn’t decide it,” he added. “God decided.”
Just how we remembered him, Rivers wore his emotion and passion for the game on his sleeve. A trait that appears to have trickled down to the rest of his family.
“I think what tells the story for us is the reaction of the other children and how excited they are,” he added. “They are fired up.”
When he’s not at home, Rivers dedicates his time being a football coach at St. Michael Catholic High School in Fairhope, Alabama.
