(Las Vegas) — Kevin Durant has seen some things.
It was the summer of 2007, Durant, newly drafted number two overall pick to the Seattle Supersonics, scored 29 points in a summer league game against the Jazz.
But not even that was the most hard-hitting performance of the night.
“I remember watching a fan knock a police officer out as soon as I walked off the bus to go into the gym, time flies,” Durant wrote on Twitter on Monday in response to highlights from the game.
KD was selected after Greg Oden went first to the Portland Trail Blazers. Al Horford followed afterwards as the third pick with the Atlanta Hawks.
Durant did not let that scene phase him as he ended up with 10 All-NBA selections and 13 All-Star appearances.
Not to mention the two NBA titles, two NBA finals MVP and lone regular season MVP.
