NEW YORK — The Bills might be getting their defensive anchor back.
Bills EDGE Von Miller (knee) was back at practice on Wednesday. Miller has been out since last season with a torn ACL . He was put on the PUP list to start the year.
“I don’t know if the fans can expect to see me yet, but if I was a betting man I would say yeah, you can expect to see Von Miller in London,” the linebacker said in Tuesday’s edition of The Von Cast, via B/R Gridiron.
“It’s still not a promise that I play in this game,” Miller said. “I want to play in this game. I really don’t have all the time in the world to like figure it out. I get one padded practice.”
Miller is eligible to be activated, but the Bills will obviously want to see how he responds from todays practice before making a final decision.
With cornerback Tre’Davious White lost for the season, the Bills could certainly use Miller back in their lineup.
The 34-year-old looked like his old havoc-wreaking self in his first 11 games with Buffalo, registering eight sacks.
The Bills play the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, at 9:30 a.m.
