MINNESOTA — He’s back.
NFL.com reports Justin Jefferson is being activated from injured reserve.
The Vikings won’t play this week, but they project to have Jefferson back in the lineup when they return from their bye week.
Jefferson has been out since injuring his hamstring during a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs back in Week 5. He returned to practice on November 8 and has been listed as questionable to play the last couple of weeks.
The 24-year-old was yet again playing at an All-Pro pace with 114.2 yards per game prior to his injury.
He’s set to return on Dec. 10 at Las Vegas.
“I’m the main person that’s going to make the decision at the end of the day. I’m the person that’s going out there running. I’m the person that’s going out there and putting my body on the line to win games and do things for this organization. I know how I feel, I know how my hamstring is feeling,” Jefferson told reporters last week.
“Of course we’re going to weigh in on all the different opinions and what everyone has to say, but at the end of the day I’m the one that’s going out there and putting my body on the line.”
Welcome back; champ.
