JACKSONVILLE — Will Trevor Lawrence shock the world and return Sunday?
It appears so.
Jaguars beat writer Demetrius Harvey said he’s “at about 80/20 now [Trevor] Lawrence will play” in Week 14 against the Browns.
Remember, this is merely an opinion from a beat writer who has observed the quaterback in practice, not an official word from the team. Lawrence has been fighting to play all week despite suffering a gruesome ankle injury in Monday night’s Week 13 game against the Bengals.

Head coach Doug Pederson said Lawrence will “probably” be a game-time decision.
“He’s feeling good,” the Jaguars head coach said. “He moved around a little bit [Thursday], see how he does today. Kind of base it on the medical staff, how Trevor feels.”
Lawrence suffered a right high ankle sprain in Monday night’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but he practiced on a limited basis Thursday and was going to do the same Friday.

“[That] just shows his toughness — physical toughness, mental toughness,” Pederson said. “I believe when your quarterback exudes that, I think it does send a message to the rest of your team in a good way. And I’m still optimistic, obviously for this weekend, but again, the fact that he’s willing and able to put himself out there for his teammates and his team speaks volumes.”
The Jaguars on Friday also placed wide receiver Christian Kirk on injured reserve, who will subsequently have to miss four games before he is eligible to return.
